Phil Ricklefs is an accomplished contractor who has worked multitudes of jobs in the construction industry with over three decades of experience. In Pennsylvania, Phil worked in construction and excavation, having his own business. Upon moving to Skaneateles In 2006, he relocated his business in construction and excavation where later he transitioned to a general contractor and a home builder in the area. Almost a decade ago, Phil had refurbished a pontoon boat to build a boathouse on the east side of Skaneateles. This was the beginning of Ricklefs Contracting and Barge services, a family owned business on Skaneateles Lake. Since then Phil has built two barges and a center console work boat to effectively address and construct any project dreamt of.

Phil is joined by his son Jon since graduating from St. John Fisher College, longstanding team member Joe Trumble, an excellent tradesman, and Gunner Simmons, a recent Skaneateles High School graduate with multiple certifications in welding.
